Programme Director - Global Property Transformation / Estates - Inside IR35
Our client, a leading Financial services business, are recruiting for a Programme Director with Global Property Transformation / Global Estates experience to join the team on a contract basis at their offices in London.
The Programme Director is accountable for the end-to-end execution of complex, multi-stream programmes, ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes while embedding consistent change management standards across all initiatives within the programme.
Programme Director Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex programmes from initiation through to closure.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, and risks to ensure delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Establish and maintain strong delivery discipline across all workstreams.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that threaten programme delivery.
- Drive accountability and performance across project managers and delivery leads.
- Provide focus and prioritisation on business outcomes drive meaningful change from the delivery teams
- Embed change management standards and practices across the programme to ensure business readiness and adoption.
- Establish and operate programme governance in line with organisational standards.
- Provide regular, high-quality programme reporting covering delivery status, risks, financials, dependencies, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with programme, project, and change management standards.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across business, facilities, and third parties.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery and change practices across the programme.
- Contribute to the evolution of organisational change and delivery standards.
Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering complex programmes in global regulated organisations.
- Global estates / property programme experience.
- Proven track record of hands-on execution across multi-stream programmes.
- Demonstrated ability to embed and enforce change management standards across programmes.
- Strong experience in programme governance, financial management, and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and manage competing priorities
