Location: Cheltenham
About the Role
We're seeking an Automation Developer to design, build, and maintain automation solutions that streamline workflows and improve efficiency. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Python, Power Automate, and Microsoft tools
- Identify inefficiencies and propose automation improvements
- Gather requirements and analyse workflows for automation opportunities
- Troubleshoot and optimize automated processes for performance and scalability
- Maintain documentation for scripts, workflows, and integrations
Essential Skills
- JavaScript (for rules engine API writing)
- SQL for database queries
- Knowledge of JSON data structures
- Basic Java for ODM tool data type definitions
- Strong understanding of process mapping and workflow analysis
Desirable Skills
- Python scripting experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices
- Exposure to ODM and BAW tools (training provided)
