Lead Technical Business Analyst

My client in the Insurance industry are looking for a Lead Technical Business Analyst to work on a 6 month initial contract outside IR35. They are looking for a candidate with experience of working within the London Markets and has extensive data modelling experience.

Objective:
Drive and deliver comprehensive analysis to enable complex data migrations, ensuring seamless transition from a legacy system to a modern target platform with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical analysis for large-scale data migration initiatives.
• Experience working for London Market Insurers
• Advise stakeholders on best practices for system decommissioning and data transition strategies.
• Define and manage requirements for APIs, data models, and integration points.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation for data mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with migration and system cutover.

Core Skills & Experience:

• Proven expertise in PAS systems and complex data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of API design and integration.
• Advanced data modelling skills for structured and semi-structured data.
• Proficiency in XML, JSON, and Excel for data handling and transformation.
• Ability to work across technical and business teams to ensure smooth delivery.
