Senior Technical Project Manager (Data Centre Migration / Exit) - 12 months

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large data centre migration for a public sector organisation across Scotland. You will manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to final decommissioning and develop and manage comprehensive, detailed migration plans (run books), wave planning, and cutover strategies, ensuring a smooth transition.

Essential skills:

• Demonstrated success in delivery across both distributed infrastructure estates.
• Experience in managing both agile and waterfall projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, influencing and communication skills
• Ability to apply a broad understanding of IT infrastructure and interdependencies to create effective, risk-minimising migration plans
• The candidate will have an awareness of Digital First Service Standards, and Government Digital Services (GDS).
