Onsite Account Director (MSP) - Newbury

Lorien is looking to recruit an Onsite Account Director to provide strategic and operational support for a well-established MSP client account based in Newbury. (Weekly travel to Paddington is also required)

Due to the unprecedented growth of one of our key clients, Lorien is investing in new talent to lead our recruitment team. You will be joining an established, award winning division, and be based onsite at their Newbury office. The client expects Lorien to deliver best in class recruitment services and practices, which we have done for a number of years.

This is a fully outsourced recruitment solution. This role will be to lead and deliver recruitment activity for the client exclusively through Lorien's MSP solution. You will have overall accountability and responsibility for the account's operational performance and growth. The role will encompass all elements of the recruitment life cycle, working with the client on everything from demand planning through to resource approval and requisition.

With direct client access, great volumes of IT contract requirements and a high quality employee value proposition this is a unique opportunity. Lorien manage the ALL the contingent UK staff for this client, so while we deliver on all IT / Tech requirements directly, you will also be responsible for other functions such as finance & accountancy requirements and control the 2nd & 3rd tier agency supply chain.

Key duties:

  • Overall responsibility for operational budgetary and P&L control
  • Development and management of strategic level customer relationships
  • Recruitment, development and management of account team staff
  • Provide operational expertise to support development of the business
  • Ensure effective supply chain management and control across all accounts
  • Proactively drive a collaborative approach across Lorien and Impellam Group
  • Ensure account(s) operate to or exceed contractual and SLA requirements
  • Participate in and contribute to the sales process for new and existing business development
  • Proactively lead, manage and deliver on account re-tenders and renewals
  • Continuous service development and improvement
  • Maintain competitive awareness and manage accordingly to protect the Lorien Group
  • Drive and support change throughout the business as required

Who are you?

Success in this role will be the ability to integrate with the client, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on the recruitment of new talent. It will require quality engagement with hiring managers, and understanding their recruitment needs so that you can ensure obtain the best results.

As well as exceeding client expectations, you will need to ensure Lorien's opportunities are maximised and the account is developed accordingly. In addition to the experience listed below, you will be a hard-working, ambitious and results driven individual with a high level of professionalism.

This opportunity would suit an Onsite Account Director / Senior Manager who is used to developing relationships at a senior/board level. You will have a wealth of experience in managing a large, complex managed service program while also showing examples of continuously improving and implementing new and improved business solutions.

You must have experience within an MSP / RPO environment to be considered for this role, while also having successful people management and leadership experiences. You will be onsite and very client facing, sharing the office space with all the senior stakeholders of the business. This is a hands on role and you will be involved in all aspects of a recruitment solution for the business. Therefore you would need to feel very comfortable with this level of responsibility and involvement.
