Network Administrator

Lorien's long standing client, a leader in their industry with an ever-growing and award-winning product line, are looking for a Network Administrator to join their team (following the previous holder's promotion within the business).

The lucky individual to secure this role can expect to fulfil the following duties...

* Working across the spectrum from supporting, configuring, maintaining and upgrading corporate networks and in-house servers to monitoring network performance and weakness testing* Ensuring network security and connectivity while maintaining / developing network related documentation and reports associated with infrastructure* Liaising with IT representative across the globe to ensure system availability / reliability* Providing 3rd line user support to ensure effective use of IT systems* Getting involved in the management and implementation of multiple IT related projects, activities and tasks

...and bring the following to the table to do so:

* Strong track record in the Network Engineer / Network Admin domains * Proven hands-on skills across networking, routing and switching* Working knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory ( AD ), firewalls and VPN implementation* Good knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of infrastructure as well as change management, implementations, troubleshooting and problem solving* Ability to identify, learn and adapt to new technologies and assess their potential impact and usefulness
