Are you a passionate Data Scientist, looking for the next significant step in your career?

The client

Working within the media space supporting TV advertisers to precision-target viewers across a range of TV environments by delivering targeted ads.


You will be an experienced Data Scientist who enjoys mining data and creating models to shape the client's products and optimise performance. Working within the Platform Development team and you will be liaising and working with both the technical and commercial departments.

Your responsibilities

  • Use data modelling and machine learning practices to analyse large datasets.
  • Investigate and innovate forecasting processes and other predictive models.
  • Build algorithms and design investigations to understand the data to provide tailored insights.
  • Assess the effectiveness of current data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods.
  • Maintain clear and coherent communication to understand data needs and report results.
  • Communicate and present insights to stakeholders for use across the company.
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to use data and insights across other functions of the business.

Your experience

  • Experience working as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst, ideally within the Media & Advertising industry, but not essential.
  • Relevant Degree or Masters in a related field, such as Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science etc.
  • Ability to delivery end to end data science projects.
  • Working with, manipulating, and cleansing very large datasets.
  • Ability to approach problems creatively and build out solutions from the tools available.
  • Use of data visualisation tools to convey model output and insights.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and Python and its data science libraries (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, seaborn, Scikit Learn, matplotlib, IPython / Jupyter).
  • Experience with SQL, ideally in a BigQuery environment and BI Tools, ideally Looker.
