Lorien's financial services client is looking for a Business Analyst from a regulatory background to join the for an initial 6 month contract Inside IR35. The role will be fully remote but could change as restricitons start to ease. You will be joining a high profile programme so its essential that you can hit the ground running early into the project.

The role:

  • Take the lead to deliver the business problem/opportunity, ensuring that the rationale for undertaking the project is clear and worthwhile
  • Produce a business analysis plan with key milestone activities Assess options and consider the business impact for innovative business solutions
  • Have the ability to depict, re-design and develop business processes and procedures including involvement in Risk analysis
  • Work with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers to establish requirements/user stories and define acceptance criteria Identify risks of recommended solutions and propose ways to manage those risks
  • Ensure traceability between agreed requirements and the completed design Support / lead implementation rollout planning and activities

About you:

  • Solid skills as a Business Analysis delivering quality artefacts in budget and on time with evidence of excellent understanding and application of a range of business analysis techniques and change methodologies, specifically agile and waterfall ways of working in particual with skills in a regulatory environment are key to the success of this role and an essential requirement for the role.
  • Evidence from working within financial services is key to this role
  • Ability to communicate ideas in a clear and succinct fashion
