You are responsible for delivering Procurement activity in your specific area of responsibility; this may include Sourcing,

Negotiation, Category Planning and Supplier Management where appropriate. You are responsible for actively challenging how

the business allocates costs, commits spend and manages 3rd parties with the aim of reducing the overall GNFR spend and

Third Party Risk for the brand and providing best value through your procurement and negotiation expertise.

Skills needed

Category Planning & Sourcing:

You will be responsible for delivering best in class sourcing,

category management and planning, negotiation, cost

transformation and broader strategies for GNFR

Procurement. You will deliver compliance to Procurement

policy for your business area including assurance on the

procurement supply base, providing input to the Qualified

Supplier List and ensuring that regulatory compliance and

commercial risk for the Brand is protected by


Supplier Management:

You will be responsible for delivering best in class supplier

management, cost transformation and broader strategies for

GNFR Procurement, owning the second line of defence for

Third Party Risk Management across the Partnership. You

will be responsible for delivering the Supplier Management

framework, tools and system including the Third Party Risk

Management framework. You will ensure regulatory

compliance and commercial risk for the Partnership are

protected by working with Legal on delivering professional

Commercial Agreements

Technical skills: Understands the end to end source to

contract procurement process including internal needs

analysis, supply market assessments, sourcing strategies,

supplier selection, negotiation and contracting. Has a strong

knowledge of contract law and drafting commercial

agreements with a strong working knowledge of regulatory

legislation and compliance and commercial contracts. Is able to

translate and apply Partnership CSR strategy to

decision-making, considering ethical procurement approaches.

Category Planning & Sourcing: Holds specific category

planning expertise and ability for your area of responsibility.

Supplier Management: Has a strong level of expertise in

supplier management activity, process and frameworks.

Understands trend analysis (including emerging risk data,

consideration of impact analysis and cause and effect)

  • Category Planning & Sourcing experience
  • Professional Negotiation such as The GAP Partnership Essential and/or Complete Skilled Negotiator
  • Broad procurement experience, including category planning, supplier management.
