My client, a large retail business, is looking for Project Manager with extensive Credit Card project experience to join their team on an initial 6 month basis, please note this role does fall inside of scope so you will need to utalise an umbrella solution.

The project will be to grow their existing Finance Department into the Credit Card space, the next phase aims to define the Business Model, source new provider(s) and to develop a Business Case to then build and launch the Credit Card.

The PM will work with a large number of teams and providers to drive the proposition forward, forming part of the Core Programme team. The PM will be accountable for developing a delivery plan that supports the product and technology roadmaps and new operating model. He/she will have oversight of delivery plans for diverse areas such product, technology, migration, legals, commercials, org design and people, ensuring teams work together.

Skills required:

  • Highly experienced professional with extensive experience in delivering programmes in the Credit Card space, primarily in card conversion and tech delivery.
  • Worked within the Finance and/or Retail sector
  • Experience in leading complex deliveries working with senior stakeholders in the business and in tech, to deliver the business strategy
  • Experience building, managing and influencing diverse relationships across a business and a track record of aligning divergent views.
  • Experience operating in a challenging organisational environment with a requirement to balance differing priorities and demands.
  • High degree of commercial and value management skills including ability to interpret and work with financial appraisals and NPV, ability to develop business cases and use effective value judgement to recommend changes to project scope / direction.
