Azure Security Consultant (Mac Device Management) - WFH/Edinburgh - 6 Months with view to extend

Our Banking client is looking for a highly skilled Security Consultant to join their Edinburgh based team on a 6 month initial contract with view to extend.

The Security Consultant will hold good working knowledge and experience in one or more security specialist areas and use this to support the delivery of a range of services across the Bank. Working with their peers in Security and a wide variety of business and technology stakeholders, the Security Consultant will work across a broad range of engagements taking responsibility, drawing on their area of expertise and seeking support where required from senior members of the team to: Understand, prioritise and assist with developing solutions proportionate to risk and in line with business requirements.

Perform Security Assessments (SA) to support change programmes under their area of specialism:

  • interpreting and providing practical recommendations on how to comply with Security Policy and Standards
  • identifying and effectively communicating remedies to address control gaps
  • provide and prepare evidence in support of the Bank's Risk Management processes

Provide subject matter expert support and guidance in relation to:

  • security related queries from projects and programmes
  • assess compliance with security contract clauses
  • identify and assess security tools and services in support of vendor selection
  • Assist customers with penetration testing scoping and interpretation of findings.

An understanding of Security Services and the technology that delivers them:

  • Security testing
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Intrusion Detection
  • Information Leakage Protection
  • Crypto Key Management
  • PKI
  • SOC & SIEM
  • Cyber Attack Protection

Experience of Security in one or more of the following areas:

  • Cloud - IaaS: AWS, Azure,
  • Cloud - PaaS: Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or another PaaS platform
  • Develop/Agile - Continuous Delivery (CD)/Continuous Integration (CI) tools.
  • Records Management
  • Office 365
  • Security Testing Tools
  • Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies
  • SIRA

Qualifications - Industry qualifications such as CISSP.
