Network Security Specialist

Permanent: Network Security Specialist - £70k to £75K - Hertfordshire

I am working with a Global IT Services Provider that are looking for a Network Security Specialist to join in helping to build out a brand new Security Operations Centre.

This role will be situated within the Incident Response Team and will therefore need someone with strong experience in this area.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• 5-10 years industry experience
• Be the Server and Network Security Operations Lead
• Strong experience in asset, configuration, patch and vulnerability management
• Strong experience in server & network operations, design, configuration and deployment
• CIS Benchmark, Tenable, Qualys & Rapid 7
• Risk management, incident & breach response and crisis management experience
• SIEM Tooling: Sentinel & Splunk
• Cloud Security experience: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Web Application Firewalls, Network and host-based Firewalls, Log analysis and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
• Strong Stakeholder Management
