Our client is a successful start-up based in Central London. Founded in 2016, they have been growing rapidly ever since and are now looking to make multiple hires - one of which a Data Architect. With new offices, funding and global expansion on the horizon, now is a great time to join the business.

The Role

As a Data Architect, your main focus will be codesigning their Data Processing Architecture. Other responsibilities include:

• Establishing data warehousing
• Establishing data governance
• Conducting data modelling, guide analysis and visualisation
• Working closely with analysts and engineers to model data across the organisation and build insightful analysis for business stakeholders
• Providing strategic guidance on developing a data-driven culture across the organisation
• Lead a small team of Data Engineers and analysts to bring business and architectural visions to reality

Essential Skills

You will be an experienced Data Architect, with proven experience in the below:

• AWS
• Python
• Data Architecture design, including warehouse and ETL pipeline design
• Spark / Big Data analytics and Machine Learning
• Working with stakeholders to build transformational data strategy
• Defining and designing data governance processes
• Data visualisation (best practices)
• Leading a small project / product team for a sustained period
