Java Engineer - Educational Mobile Application - up to £100k

An educational technology platform disruptor is looking for an Engineer with a background in developing software in a service-oriented paradigm.

The business is looking to scale parallel to it's rapid rise in users therefore needs an Engineer with a growth mindset who has strong knowledge of availability, scalability and performance.

You'll need:

• Java software development experience, strong experience of Spring Boot
• An understanding of Kubernetes or Docker, and an understanding of cloud-based technologies (AWS/GCP).
• Experience building complex customer-facing products for the web or mobile platforms
• Exposure to message-driven architectures, Kafka or event sourcing
• Agile delivery experience
