This is an exciting opportunity with a well-known and growing client is looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join their growing products team!

As the Senior Back-end Developer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software and products, able to be deployed frequently and safely into production. Working with similarly minded people, you will help to shape the way we use and adopt technologies and take a leading role in the way development is approached by the company going forwards. The Senior Back-end Developer should therefore have a positive mind-set and be a leading force in training and mentoring the junior members of the team.

The role offers excellent room for growth internally as the client aims to increase their development and become a market leader within software development

Senior Back-End Developer required skill set:

• Excellent expertise within Java working within Spring Boot frameworks
• DevOps experience in at least one or more of the following technologies
  • Elasticsearch, Kafka, Gradle, Hibernate, Couchbase, SQL, Docker
• Strong Microservices experience
• Has commercial experience of writing applications with Java
• Has strong problem-solving skills
• Is passionate about the importance of testing and promotes TDD

Senior Back-end Developer preferred skills:

• Worked at the Tech Lead level
• Ability to train others and has a genuine passion to make a difference within an organisation to impact ways of working in a positive manner
