Technical Security Manager - Cloud & Hosting Experience

As one of Vodafone's key strategic partners we are currently recruiting for a Technical Security Manager with Cloud & Hosting experience to join the team on a initial 3 month contract. This role would usually be based in Newbury but will be remote working for the foreseeable.

Role purpose:

The key focus will be to provide the best in class Technical Security Assurance to the Vodafone Business across a wide range of IT, Hosting & Network solutions and services. You need to be able to solve complex and multi-dimensional problems in a commercially sensible manner.

You will ensure the Privacy & Technical Assurance of new Products, managing their introduction and integration to meet contractual and Internal technical security standards. You will be experienced in Technical Security Architecture and be able to scope a Technical Assurance Assessment. Vulnerability and Penetration tests across IT and Network infrastructure.

You will have complete understanding of the I.T. and Network systems development lifecycle as you will be working with architects, analysts and a host of third parties to assure technical and customer contractual compliance of Vodafone's products, platforms and services.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in applying technical security baseline standards from Internal and external standards to ensure security through the full product lifecycle of enterprise products and services
  • Strong Technical Security background in IT and networks ideally in consultancy or assurance background
  • Supplier and third party management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Some customer interfacing skills/experience desirable
  • Industry expertise in cybersecurity e.g. CCNA, MCP, CISSP, CISM, IISP or similar desirable,
