Field Sales Manager

Field based around Harlow, Office based in Basildon.

Permanent - Competitive Salary + Car Allowance

This global managed service provider is now looking for a field sales manager to lead, coach and motivate a team of Field Account Managers to achieve GP targets, improve customer retention and increase product penetration through effective coaching.

You will be coaching a team, ensuring set GP targets are hit through selling products into the SMB managed customer base, teaching and one to ones will play a major part in this role, leading to your teams success.

Some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

It is your responsibility through coaching and training to ensure that each team member can demonstrate an understanding of both the sales and operational processes within the business.

To ensure your personal product knowledge is at a level that enables you to spot opportunities to improve customer's effectiveness, improve their efficiency's and reduce their operating costs.

To recruit, develop and maintain a team of Account Managers that are successful in the role.Your Knowledge,

Skills and Experience will include:

Understanding of the objectives of SMB businesses

Previous experience managing people

Can coach the sales heads and prove improvement in performance as a result of sales coaching in the field

An understanding and can demonstrate the sales process such as 7 Steps/Customer Transition/SL pitch

Can demonstrate a strong internal network and an understanding of the different departments and relationships needed to be a success

A proven track record of target over-achievement and career progression

Effective time management skills, and the ability to forward plan/manage a sales strategy.
