Lead Angular Developer | London or Ipswich | 6 Months

We are currently recruiting for a Lead Angular Developer to join one of our clients for an initial 6 month contract based in London or Ipswich.

You will be joining our client's Analytics Solutions function. Using Agile methodologies, you'll work in an innovative cross-functional team responsible for using leading edge technologies to design, build and support web based analytical solutions. You will be leading a team of 2 - 3 Developers.

You will use your practical experience to hit the ground running and contribute to developing high quality code to help meet our complex business requirements.

You will be responsible for maintaining an awareness of technology trends both within and outside of the organisation.

Required Experience:

You will have a good range of commercial experience of C#, .Net 4.5+, Angular 4+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and SQL Server. They need someone with a good range of practical experience of Angular 4+.

You will need good knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles, including DI and decoupled design. You will ensure quality through unit testing and mocking frameworks.

Strong communication skills is also key to this role, and the ability to apply these to rapid and creative problem solving in a pressurised environment.

Desirable Skillset:

Experience working within financial services, preferably with exposure to insurance industry.

Someone who has exposure to Microsoft VSTS agile planning tools including build and release management. Experience of Azure Cloud Services is also a bonus.

Experience of service based development using technologies such as WCF, Web API and RESTful services is a plus, along with experience with responsive front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap and JavaScript data visualisation libraries.

Exposure to NOSQL technologies (such as Couchbase or Mongo DB) is a plus, and experience of performance tuning and optimising techniques.
