Claire Marsh

CEO

Bio

Claire began her recruitment career with Lorien as a graduate in 1998, progressing from Account Manager through to her current role as CEO.

With 18 years’ experience within the IT recruitment sector, Claire has a wealth of experience devising and Implementing complex recruitment solutions within the IT Sector.

Claire has led the organisation through an intense recent period of growth and continues to successfully expand the business by providing bespoke MSP and RPO talent solutions to market-leading organisations such as Fujitsu, Centrica, GSK, Vodafone and Royal Bank of Scotland.

David Gettins

Managing Director

Bio

With over 18 years experience in the IT staffing industry, David has in-depth experience of fulfilment and delivery models to include multi-location, multi-sector and niche skills. David oversees key aspects of the business such as end to end sales, delivery and management of the Lorien On-site, Managed Service and RPO service offerings.

David is also directly responsible for our clients’ ongoing satisfaction and ensuring that Lorien continues to exceed expectations on its deliverables. He is also responsible and accountable for management of over 4,500 contractors across the UK.

Annie Smith

Director for MSP and RPO

Bio
A qualified Prince 2 practitioner specialising in design, implementation and delivery of complex outsourced recruitment models across the financial services, professional services, local authority, retail, aviation, technology and telecoms sectors, Annie has worked in recruitment for 12 years. She has experience within specialist contract and permanent recruitment as well as high volume temp models.
 
Starting at Lorien in 2015, Annie primarily focuses on our RPO and MSP accounts, ensuring that we always deliver the best quality service to our clients and continually adapt to meet their changing needs. She also heads up Lorien’s project and implementation function.

Darren Topping

Business Solutions Director

Bio

Darren joined Lorien as an entry-level Resourcer shortly before 2008’s Credit Crunch. Since joining Lorien, Darren has specialised in both contract and permanent recruitment across a range of delivery models and technology disciplines. He has worked across a wide variety of clients on a full-scale RPO, exclusive or PSL basis.

One of Darren’s many successful relationships has been with Daisy where he has managed an RPO service that has been in place since 2012 with a consistent 95% direct supply rate, in addition to being responsible for further quality performance supply to Swinton, BAE, ARM, Wonga and L&G.

Adam Robinson

Regional Director

Bio
Adam has 13 years’ experience in the recruitment sector, including 12 in technology and business change recruitment. Adam has diverse industry experience, acting as the key point of contact and operational lead for large accounts in retail, financial services, the public sector, utilities and consultancy. He currently leads a team of 14 account managers, resourcers and a delivery director across Leeds and Manchester, driving delivery into some of Lorien’s largest key accounts. His approach is practical, honest and straightforward – always taking a proactive approach to achieving the results clients are looking to see.

Sean Bowman

Regional Director

Bio

Sean started his career in recruitment 16 years ago and since then has specialised in delivering contingent recruitment solutions across the FS and consultancy sectors in Edinburgh.

He joined Lorien in 2006 as a Senior Account Manager before moving on to Team Leader and then Regional Director for the Edinburgh office. Sean now runs all of Lorien's accounts in Scotland and over the last 5 years, Sean has been responsible for setting up and running a highly successful Master Vendor solution for one of the largest Financial Services organisations in the UK, RBS. Sean has also continued to support the growth of a number of other FS & consultancy brands across the UK.

Claire Middleton

Finance Director

Bio

Claire joined Lorien straight from university as a Trainee Accountant, subsequently working her way up to Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Controller and finally, her current role as Finance Director.

During her 24 years with the company, she’s overseen Lorien’s progression from a £25m a year company to the £350m a year company it is today. As Finance Director, Claire ensures all functions support the business effectively, continually finding talented new additions to the team who can improve back office efficiency.

Louise has worked in recruitment marketing for 13 years and has extensive experience in the UK and international markets across candidate and client marketing. She is CIM qualified, with proven experience supporting clients from all walks of life to raise their profile and acquire better talent for their business. Leading a multi-disciplinary marketing team, Louise is responsible for ensuring that Lorien is consistently thought of as the number one choice for tech professionals – enabling our clients to leverage unparalleled access to top talent networks through our channels. Louise focusses on creating a truly collaborative sales and marketing environment in order to deliver the best possible experience for our customers by putting the customer and our value proposition at the heart of what we do.

Vic Cooke

HR Manager

Bio
Victoria has worked for Lorien for over 10 years, initially joining as an HR Administrator. She was promoted to HR Officer in 2011 and then to HR Manager in 2014.
 
During her time with the company, Victoria has gained considerable expertise in all areas of HR, including payroll, L&D and recruitment. She currently oversees all aspects of people and development-related activities for the company.
