The Client: A leading digital fashion retailer requires a security operations engineer

The Role: You will be responsible for delivering new security capabilities within the cloud to improve the overall security posture to support the long-term strategic goals of Security Operations Centre. The post holder will mentor and support the development of other team members of the SOC team and identify ways to improve process automation. The successful candidate will contribute to cross functional collaboration to ensure appropriate security measures, technologies and processes are in place. This role will report to the Security Operations & Fraud Manager.

Key Skills:

• Experience working in an internal Security Operations Centre - improving their security knowledge and awareness. Walking through newly deployed security solutions and how to bring them into operational activities.

• Experience and understanding of Azure/cloud environments with proven examples of deploying and maintaining security solutions for an operational team.

• Experience of securing cloud environments

• Proven track record of delivering new security initiatives within a SOC environment.

• Strong experience reading and consuming security operational alerts and logs (3rd Party and cloud native) as well as programming / scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, PowerApps, KQL), to automate tasks, to enable security at speed and scale.
