DevOps Engineer - Edinburgh

Our Public Sector client is offering an exciting opportunity for an DevOps Engineer to join their team on a permanent, full time basis.

• Experience in DevOps processes, culture, tools and methodologies.
• A breadth of experience and understanding of:
• Providing 24x7 Operations for high profile websites
• Cloud services (AWS preferred)
• Infrastructure management
• Cyber Security
• Container technologies
• Jenkins pipelines
• Logging and telemetry systems
• Development methodologies and toolsets (primarily Java)
• Source code control (git)
• Provisioning and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Systems architecture
• Linux
• Skills in debugging, fault resolution, and exercises such as no-blame post-mortums
• Experience of working within an Agile / Scrum environment
• Good interpersonal skills and a self starting attitude to progressing project work.
