Senior Java Developer - Leeds (Hybrid Remote) £55k-£65k - new job in Leeds, UK

Based in Leeds with highly flexible remote working, this role is paying between £55k and £65k per annum + benefits.

THE ROLE: As a member of the Product Development team, you will be responsible for delivering projects related to the development, support and maintenance of the company's customer facing applications and internal applications. You will champion areas of technologies, assist in defining standards, interact and communicate with other areas of the business, gather requirements, and manage expectations. Staying on top of the latest technologies, you will bring innovation and motivation to the team as well as aiding other team members in a coaching and mentoring capacity. CORE DUTIES:

• Develop robust, resilient solutions
• Advocate testing, change and release management processes
• Suggest and deliver continuous improvement items aligned with the strategic direction of Product Development
• Suggest innovative approaches to new and existing ways of working

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong working knowledge of the design, development and maintenance of both web and Windows-based applications

• ± 5 years' software development experience
• A related degree or equivalent qualifications / experience
• Strong grasp of Java, JavaScript (ES5, ES6+) and SQL
