My client who are unique retail business are looking to recruit a Machine learning Operations Project Manager on an initial 6 month contract, to join their team based in either Bracknell or London 1 - 2 days a week. Please note this role is paid via an umbrella company/PAYE. As Machine learning Operations Project Manager you will bring together Data Science and IT Operations, combined with Data Management in order to support the collaboration and communication between data scientists, and operations professionals. It combines Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Data Management to deliver Machine Learning at scale integrated into the lines of business. The capability ensures that we have sustainable and supportable models that drive business value and can be easily monitored, measured and retrained to ensure that drift and bias are controlled. ML Ops also requires enhanced business processes including an on-going maintenance approach.

Accountabilities:

• To project manage the successful delivery of the project for the programme, working with the MLOps Product Owner.
• Management of risk, issues and dependencies.
• Management of project finances.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders.
• Provide regular status updates as per Programme governance model

Deliverables:

• Signed-off scope and requirements for ML Ops capability
• Review of options to deliver the capability including ML Ops Tool(s) and/ or ML Ops Services suppliers
• Determine delivery approach
• Run Partner (3rd Party) selection
• Setup of capability or service including standing up of a product team.
• Transition over to Product Delivery & Operations team.
• Identify what is required & plan for transition of CI and other interim models to Strategic solution.
