Our client is an international consultancy in the technology industry looking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer to come in and replace the previous Infrastructure Engineer to provide 3rd Line Support Engineering to their internal users in a Microsoft and VMware based environment for up to 800 users.

Candidates would need to be SC Cleared and open to work on a variety of different projects, reporting to the Infrastructure Operations Manger of the Windows Virtualisation team.

Despite the role being fully remote, the client would require candidates to be within a commutable distance to Belfast as there may be adhoc requirements for successful candidates to come into office to support the hosting infrastructure.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Providing support to users for Windows Server and virtualised platform issues
• Being an escalation point for any 1st & 2nd Line Support issues
• Meeting SLA's through resolving logged incidents

• Windows Servers - Active Directory
• Microsoft Software - MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCITP
• VMware VCTA/VCP
• Azure - Fundamentals (AZ-900) Administrator (AZ-104)
