Remote Working - UK based

A global software development client, who specialise in risk management for a wide portfolio of major clients in the US and newly in the UK, are looking for a Google Cloud Engineer to join their well-established technology team.

To be successful for this position you will need:

• Hold Google Cloud certification (preferred)
• Strong GCP DevOps background/experience
• From a development background, having worked with python (essential)
• Experience with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code; Terraform, ARM templates, Cloud Formation, Deployment manager, YAML or PowerShell DSC.
• Other essential tools such as - Jira, Elasticsearch
• Define and maintain technical designs according to cloud best practices.
• Microservices, Containers (Kubernetes)
• Enabling a CI/CD toolset to be adopted - GitHub, Jenkins
• Understanding of Cloud Platform Services (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS)
• Cost management experience, cost optimisation, experienced in migration projects
