Senior Systems Engineer - £550PD+ Inside IR35 12-Month Contract - Hybrid - 4 Days On siteWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Systems Engineer for a leading client in the Motor Sports industry.You should have a strong background in embedded system development and be able to work collaboratively with our small team of systems, hardware, and embedded software engineers.As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting systems, leading technical teams, interfacing with stakeholders, and supporting systems in the field. You should be able to see products through the entire design cycle, from requirements capture to deployment.You will also be responsible for conducting tests and demonstrations with external suppliers and researching new technologies to meet project requirements. Occasional travel to races may be required.Qualifications:Educated to degree level (or equivalent vocational and industry experience) in electronics engineering (or suitable equivalent, such as mechatronics)Experience required:

• Strong background in the engineering domain, with experience in embedded systems development and support, especially full lifecycle
• Engineering design of products with electronic elements and components
• Architecting or assisting in the design of embedded systems
• Operating knowledge of Linux OS and experience using Linux command line interface

Desirable: Working with networking and serial protocols (e.g. Ethernet, CAN, RS232); video encoding (e.g. H264) and transmission protocols (e.g. MPEG TS); and RF systems

• Integration of embedded software with digital or analog hardware
• Developing an RTOS (such as QNX)
• Linux kernel driver development
• Using MATLAB and Simulink
• Development with the Xilinx MPSoC family
