SAN Storage Analyst

Lorien's Banking Client are currently looking for a skilled SAN Storage Analyst to join the expanding team on a new project on an initial 6-month contract.

This role is remote working.

This role will fall Inside IR35.

This role is looking for proven experience of providing 2nd and 3rd line BAU support within a medium or large enterprise environment, along with project experience incorporating upgrades and new implementations. Fault diagnosis, maintenance, and supporting of several the following:

Key Skills:

Storage Technologies

• Network Attached Storage (NAS)
• Storage Area Networks SAN
• Fibre Channel Networks
• Block Storage
• File Storage
• Object Storage
• Snapshot Technologies.

Backup Technologies

• Client and server architectures and solutions, Virtual Tape Libraries
• Knowledge of Storage Technology Tooling such as:
• IBM Spectrum Protect
• Spectrum Protect Plus
• Tivoli storage manager (TSM)
• Backup growth requirements in line with operational need)

Desirable

• Experience of administration of infrastructure services within a complex and varied environment. (Windows and VMware)
