Location - London Type - Permanent Hybrid - 2-3 days a week in officeWe are looking for a Scrum Master to join this exciting key delivery role that will lead and facilitate a programme of work which will oversee the Third Party Risk Management initiativeKey Responsibilities

  • Works with the Business to establish a vision and roadmap to deliver the outcomes of the programme of work, facilitate the breaking down of initiatives and Epics in to regular cycles of delivery and improve the predictability of deliver
  • Supports the team in the facilitation of the sessions that take the team from goals to story creation and implementation including facilitiation of the product user forum
  • Works with the Business to ensure the relevant stakeholders are aligned with the vision, delivery and progress of delivery
  • Work closely with the Risk and Compliance team ensuring there is an aligned approach to the management and response of robust controls
  • When needed, support the team in the delivery of some of the documentation and Epics
  • Supports the removal of blockers/impediments in the delivery of outcomes, including collaboration with teams outside of delivery teams, including risk management and cyber security
  • Ensures the change management components are part of the delivery in addition to the product and business change delivery
  • Works as a team in ensuring risk and dependency management is used is integrated as a component of the ongoing and successful delivery of the backlog
  • Uses retrospectives and other Lean-Agile techniques to implement small changes that lead to demonstratable improvement for the team
  • Facilitates team level ceremonies using well-known facilitation techniques
  • Works with the team and Product Owner to facilitate the breaking down of initiatives and Epics in to regular cycles of delivery and improve the predictability of delivery
  • Supports the removal of blockers/impediments in the delivery of outcomes
  • Ensures team is clear on the vision or "why" for the change. Is aware of stakeholders for/against change
  • Possesses limited knowledge of the mechanics of Agile and scaling frameworks
  • Helps team internalize fundamentals of relevant Agile values, principles, and practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Coaches individuals and the team on mindset and behavior with an emphasis on helping them understand "why" agile works, not just "how" it works

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in acting as a scrum master within a team within a team focused on Regulatory and Risk Management initiatives
  • Experience within Third Party Risk Management is desirable
  • Knowledge/training equivalent to beginner/1st level certification from a reputable Lean-Agile organization (PSK I, PSM I, CSM, etc.) a plus
  • Experience of working with delivery teams aligned to agile ways of working and creation of business value through business and technical change initiaves
  • Strong problem solver with ability to work with a team to maximize progress, potential and overall effectiveness.
  • A lifetime learner who is dedicated to relentless improvement of themselves and their teams, eager to face challenges in service of them.
