Data Engineer - GCP

My client, a large consultancy in London, are seeking a data engineer with Google Cloud Platform experience to join their growing team and help build out their digital transformation business. You will spearhead design and development of modern data processing applications or Big Data-based solutions on public, private and hybrid clouds, Understand complex data and aggregation requirements and translate them into functionalities and interface with SMEs, business analysts and other IT teams to understand the requirements and translate them into technical deliverables

Key skills required include -

• Strong data engineer experience
• GCP experience
• BigQuery
• Dataproc for Spark
• Dataflow for Apache Beam
• Airflow on Composer:
• Pub/Sub
• Cloud Functions, Cloud Run
• CloudSQL for Postgres
• GCP operations suite for logging and monitoring
• GCS - Usage in conjunction with other services,
• BI tools including Looker and Data Studio
• Low code ETL: Data Fusion & Data Prep
• Using GKE for industry wide products e.g. MongoDB & Kafka
