We are seeking an experienced Senior Pensions Implementation Consultant with deep Defined Benefit (DB) technical knowledge, strong pensions calculations expertise, and hands‑on experience with SQL/Python. This role is ideal for someone who has led end‑to‑end pensions data migrations and enjoys driving technical accuracy, quality and best‑practice implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex end‑to‑end DB pension implementation and data migration projects.
- Review changes in pension legislation or technical guidance and assess project impacts.
- Conduct, verify and explain manual and system-based DB pension calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Gather, interpret and translate client requirements into robust technical/system solutions.
Key Skills & Experiences
- Extensive technical knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes and UK pensions legislation.
- Strong pensions calculation experience
- Proven experience managing full‑cycle pensions data migrations and implementations.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (complex formulas, analysis and modelling).
- Ability to interpret detailed scheme rules and translate them into configuration logic.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data interrogation, transformations and solution build.
