Business Analyst - 6 Month InsideIR35 Contract £425 - Edinburgh

Hybrid - Scotland (Central Belt or Highlands)
Initial 6‑month contract (with potential extension)
Inside IR35 | 35 hours per week

The Role

A large public‑sector organisation in Scotland is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join on an interim basis. The role will support a range of business and digital initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to analyse requirements, improve processes, and support project delivery.

This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week on site at one of the organisation's Scottish offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply a range of business analysis techniques, including workshops, user stories, process modelling, and options analysis
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external partners
• Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
• Support projects delivered through Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Contribute to business intelligence, data management, and risk management activities
• Produce high‑quality documentation to support decision‑making and delivery

Essential Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst in a complex organisation
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
• Excellent analytical, modelling, and documentation capability
• Experience supporting or delivering projects
• Knowledge of business intelligence, data management, and risk management
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
