Business Analyst

BUSINESS ANALYST - INSIDE IR35 - 6 MONTHS

One of Loriens Edinburgh based Public Sector clients is looking for a strong Business Analyst to join the team on an initial 6 month contract, this role will require candidates to be Scotland based as the successful candidates will be required to onsite in Edinburgh a couple of times a week.

Essential skills

• Strong understanding of UK data protection laws and FOI legislation.
• Good understanding of business analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Proficient in methods and techniques for effective management of projects from initiation to completion (e.g. Agile / Prince 2) including risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Good numerical skills
• Relevant degree or HND

Proven experience

• Within data protection related projects
• Working on UK data protection requirements, FOI legislation and UK GDPR;
• Gathering business requirements and modelling business processes;
• Delivering business and system improvements - defining and evaluating options for change and making the selected option for change happen, e.g. via business case development;
• Using information gathering methods, tools and techniques and stakeholder engagement.
• Working in a team and of contributing constructively to the shared outcomes of the team
