Senior Technical Delivery Manager

Location: Hybrid - 2 days in London
Contract: 6 months

Are you an experienced Technical Delivery Manager who enjoys taking ownership of complex transformation programmes, bringing structure to ambiguity and coordinating technical and business teams to deliver meaningful change?
We're looking for a Senior Technical Delivery Manager to join a large, complex international organisation and play a key role in a major supplier onboarding and data transformation programme.

The opportunity

You'll lead the delivery of a new supplier data collection solution built on ServiceNow, replacing existing manual vendor onboarding processes across SAP and Oracle environments.
The programme will introduce supplier self-registration, automated bank validation and real-time ERP synchronisation, helping to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and reduce payment fraud risk.
The project is moving into the Design phase, ahead of Build and Transition, so you'll be joining at an important stage where you can genuinely influence how the programme is shaped and delivered.
Alongside this programme, you'll also have the opportunity to support the mobilisation, planning and delivery of other technology initiatives across the wider portfolio.

What you'll be doing

• Translating strategy and business objectives into clear, executable delivery plans
• Taking complex or undefined requirements and turning them into clear scope, objectives and milestones
• Managing delivery across multiple teams, dependencies, risks, issues and priorities
• Leading cross-functional business, technology and third-party partner teams
• Managing projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle
• Driving governance, RAID management, reporting and key decision forums
• Managing resource and capacity planning
• Overseeing budgets and working closely with finance stakeholders
• Coordinating third-party suppliers, including procurement, onboarding and delivery
• Building strong relationships across senior stakeholders, product, engineering and architecture teams
• Driving continuous improvement across delivery practices, frameworks and tooling

What we're looking for

• 7+ years' experience in Technical Delivery, Project Management, Programme Delivery or a related role
• A strong track record of delivering complex technology and transformation programmes
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery environments
• Strong governance, planning and delivery assurance capabilities
• Experience managing budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and third-party partners
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences
• Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and bringing structure to complex programmes
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or MS Project, alongside RAID logs, delivery dashboards and collaboration platforms
