HR AI Project Manager
We are currently recruiting for a HR AI Project Manager with AI-enabled Talent experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of approximately five concurrent HR-AI projects, with primary responsibility for initiatives across the Talent function
• Establish proportionate governance for each project and maintain an integrated portfolio view covering plans, milestones, RAID items, actions, decisions, dependencies, change control and benefits
• Provide concise and accurate project and portfolio reporting for sponsors, steering committees and HR-AI programme leadership, clearly identifying delivery status, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and escalations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Talent, HR Technology, HR, IT, Data, Change, Communications, Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Procurement, Architecture and external delivery partners
• Balance priorities, resources, budgets, interdependencies and delivery risks across the assigned portfolio, escalating constraints and recommending sequencing decisions where required
• Deliver AI-enabled and automation initiatives that improve Talent processes and experiences, including onboarding, learning, skills, career development, performance, succession, internal mobility and workforce development
• Ensure solutions are designed around clear user needs and measurable outcomes, such as improved employee experience, greater HR productivity, better decision support and reduced process effort
• Lead testing, data and content readiness, go-live planning, cutover, hypercare, adoption measurement and benefits tracking for each initiative
• Act as the delivery interface between HR, HR Technology, IT, SaaS vendors, AI solution providers and enterprise control functions
• Manage third-party partners through onboarding, planning, delivery, risk management, issue resolution, contractual dependencies and service transition
• Support change management, communications, training, business readiness and adoption activities to ensure solutions are embedded effectively across HR and related stakeholder groups
• Ensure projects follow data privacy, cyber security, responsible AI, technology architecture, procurement and regulatory compliance processes, escalating when approvals or evidence are at risk
• Maintain transparency over cross-project dependencies, ethical considerations, data usage, human oversight, control requirements, benefits and lessons learned across the assigned HR-AI portfolio

Experience

• Proven experience delivering a portfolio of HR technology, AI, enterprise SaaS, digital transformation or automation projects in a complex, matrixed organisation
• Strong project management expertise across multiple concurrent initiatives, including planning, prioritisation, delivery control, governance, risk management, benefits tracking and senior stakeholder reporting
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across HR, IT, vendors, control functions and senior sponsors

• Experience delivering AI-enabled Talent or HR technology, learning technologies, skills solutions, talent management platforms, workflow automation, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle HCM, analytics, chatbot or agent-based solutions
• Experience supporting responsible AI assessments, data privacy reviews, technology architecture/design reviews, procurement processes, third-party risk management or security governance
• Experience delivering pilots or proofs of concept and helping organisations move from experimentation to scalable, governed delivery
