Location: Sheffield | Hybrid (3 days per week) | Salary: Negotiable

Shape products that truly matter. Lead a team. Drive strategy. Create experiences that make a difference.

Our client is a UK technology business supporting people through some of life's most important and emotional moments. As Lead Product Manager, you'll take ownership of turning product strategy into reality, leading a team of Product Managers and delivering solutions that create meaningful experiences for the customers and professionals they serve.

Working closely with the Product Director, you'll own portfolio prioritisation, guide product delivery, make key trade-off decisions and ensure the roadmap delivers real customer and commercial value. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll influence business direction, develop product capability and help shape the future of the product portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Product Managers, creating a high-performing and customer-focused product function
  • Turn product strategy into a clear, prioritised and deliverable roadmap
  • Own portfolio-wide prioritisation, balancing customer needs, commercial opportunity and technical feasibility
  • Drive customer-centric product decisions through insight, data and market understanding
  • Partner with Technology, Delivery, Data, Marketing and Customer teams to ensure successful execution
  • Resolve cross-product challenges, manage competing priorities and remove barriers to delivery
  • Communicate roadmap progress and product direction to stakeholders across the business
  • Act as a trusted deputy to the Product Director, contributing to strategic and portfolio-level decisions

What We're Looking For

  • Experience leading Product Managers or senior product professionals
  • Proven success managing and delivering across multiple products or portfolios
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to make effective prioritisation decisions
  • A customer-first mindset and passion for creating exceptional user experiences
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience building product processes, frameworks and ways of working that drive results
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine data, insight and customer feedback into clear decisions
  • A growth mindset, natural curiosity and desire to continually improve

Why Apply
