APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER (PENSIONS SYSTEMS) | LONDON

We're seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for a critical pension administration platform and its associated integrations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong pension systems experience who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting business-critical applications and working closely with both technical and operational teams.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for a pension administration platform.
✅ Monitoring, managing and resolving incidents, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and timely resolution.
✅ Escalating complex issues to software vendors and managing communication through to resolution.
✅ Testing integrations between Oracle Fusion and pension administration platforms.
✅ Supporting system changes driven by regulatory, business and pension landscape developments.
✅ Monitoring application performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
✅ Maintaining strong relationships with infrastructure, development and business teams.
✅ Supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of pension administration solutions.

What We're Looking For

🔹 Strong experience supporting pension administration platforms, ideally EQ Compendia 6.8x.
🔹 Experience with installation, migration, troubleshooting and support of pension administration applications.
🔹 Knowledge of pension administration systems such as Compendia, Hartlink, UPM or IntelliPen.
🔹 Understanding of pension workflows, calculations, controls and administration processes.
🔹 Experience with pension data interfaces, backend structures and integrations.
🔹 Knowledge of public sector pension schemes, including schemes such as Classic, Classic Plus, Premium, Nuvos and Alpha.
🔹 Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
🔹 Ability to work across both technical and business-facing teams.

Highly Desirable

✔️ Oracle Fusion integration experience.
✔️ Experience with payroll and pension administration systems.
✔️ Knowledge of DataSure and Pension Regulator standards.
✔️ Experience working within secure-by-design or highly regulated environments.

* UK residency history with a clear and verifiable background.
* Strong financial integrity with no significant unresolved issues.
* Ability to successfully undergo enhanced security vetting and referencing.
