We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps / Data Engineer to join a major data delivery programme, developing secure, scalable cloud solutions within a modern Azure environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale data processing platforms, leveraging Databricks, Spark and Azure cloud technologies to support critical business and geospatial data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components and data processing modules.
- Build scalable, secure solutions using Azure and Databricks.
- Develop Spark and Scala-based data processing capabilities.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
- Build, maintain and optimise Azure data pipelines.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong Azure DevOps experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including:
- Entra ID
- Azure Batch
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Databricks development experience, including Unity Catalog.
- Strong Apache Spark and Scala expertise.
- Infrastructure as Code using Bicep.
- Python and PowerShell scripting.
