The role
You'll lead delivery of the Supervisory Analytics & Metrics (SAM) programme - a flagship push to bring modern data, analytics and AI-enabled capability into regulatory supervision of banks, custodians, and investment firms. You'll be delivering real data and analytics platforms - not just governance on paper - so hands-on familiarity with how these platforms get built, scaled and adopted matters as much as programme leadership.

That means turning strategy into concrete plans and milestones, owning governance end-to-end, working across the policy/tech divide, and managing delivery under real scrutiny. As this is maternity cover, you'll also need to leave the programme and team in strong shape to hand over cleanly.

A role for someone who thrives on complexity, has genuine data/analytics/AI platform delivery experience, and wants their delivery work to have real, systemic impact.

What you'll do

• Deliver the programme: own plans, roadmaps, governance and reporting; manage risks, issues and dependencies; run delivery the Agile way
• Manage stakeholders: build trust with senior leaders across the PRA, Technology, DAT and the Bank; run governance boards that move decisions forward; represent the programme in Bank-wide forums
• Lead the team: build and grow an inclusive delivery team; coach others in delivery, Agile and stakeholder skills; shape structure and resourcing for the long haul
• Keep it governed: keep delivery aligned to strategy; report clearly to senior leadership; keep decisions transparent and accountable

Must-haves

• Track record delivering programmes/change in a complex organisation
• Hands-on experience delivering data, analytics or AI platforms - you understand the build, the tooling, and what it takes to get these products adopted, not just the governance around them
• Skilled at managing plans, risks, dependencies and competing priorities
• Experience across business and technology stakeholders
• Proven leadership on large-scale data, tech or transformation programmes
• Solid grip on Agile delivery and governance
• Active SC Clearance

Strongly preferred

• Delivery of cloud-based data/analytics/AI platforms specifically - the more directly comparable to SAM, the better
• Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled analytics tooling and how it's deployed in a regulated environment
