Training & Adoption Lead (Digital & Data)

Location: Hybrid (Glasgow)

Duration: Initial 8-Month Contract (potential extensions up to 30 months)

Rate: Up to £400 Inside IR35

We're supporting a key public sector organisation delivering a major digital transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Training & Adoption Lead to drive engagement, capability building and adoption of new digital tools and ways of working.

This role will lead the training and adoption workstream across a large-scale Microsoft 365 transformation, ensuring colleagues are supported through change and equipped to maximise the value of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the training and adoption strategy across the programme
• Design and deliver role-based training, workshops and user guidance
• Drive engagement, communications and user adoption activities
• Assess training needs and identify capability gaps
• Establish champion and early-adopter networks
• Measure adoption, engagement and training effectiveness
• Support business readiness and change activities
• Work closely with programme, technical and stakeholder teams
• Promote adoption of Microsoft 365 technologies including SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot and Power Platform
• Support the embedding of new digital, data and AI-enabled ways of working

Key Experience

• Proven experience leading training and adoption activities within digital transformation programmes
• Strong background in change management, user adoption and business readiness
• Experience delivering Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Digital Workplace initiatives
• Ability to create engaging training materials, workshops and learning content
• Experience developing adoption strategies and measuring success through KPIs and usage data
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Public sector or highly regulated environment experience desirable
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Platform and Microsoft Copilot advantageous
