The Opportunity

An experienced Oracle Developer is required to join an established Agile delivery team working on the development of a new back-office database and Oracle APEX application.

This is a hands-on development role focused on Oracle database development, Oracle APEX application delivery and integration work within a fast-paced digital environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with developers and stakeholders to design, build and enhance Oracle-based solutions while supporting ongoing project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support Oracle database solutions.
• Build and enhance Oracle APEX applications.
• Create and maintain database objects including tables, views, packages, triggers and indexes.
• Develop PL/SQL and SQL components.
• Design and integrate REST APIs.
• Develop user interfaces using Oracle APEX.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint delivery.
• Support deployments through CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimise application and database performance.
• Use Git-based version control and collaborative development practices.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong Oracle RDBMS development experience.
• Oracle APEX development experience.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Experience creating tables, views, packages, triggers and indexes.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience.
• Git version control.
• CI/CD experience.
• Agile delivery experience.

• Azure Cloud.

• SQL Server.
