• Role: SAP S/4 Hana Business Analyst
• Location: Remote with occasional face-to-face meetings.
• Contract Length: 12 months
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35 (Ltd company contractors welcome)
• Rate: £550-£575 per day

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst to support a major UK SAP S/4 implementation programme. The role will work across multiple functional streams including Finance, Procurement, Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Invoicing, with a strong preference for candidates with a finance-biased background.

This role requires someone proactive, confident, and highly engaging - a "sponge, not a rock": someone who absorbs information quickly, asks the right questions, and operates independently without the need for micromanagement.

You will be part of a wider BA team, working hands-on across the programme and building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation across multiple workstreams
• Lead and support business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders, ensuring accurate translation of business needs
• Support process mapping and optimisation using Signavio
• Collaborate within a multi-BA team environment
• Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and vendors
• Operate independently with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset

Key Requirements

• Strong SAP Business Analyst experience, including S/4HANA implementations
• Finance-focused BA background preferred (rather than procurement-biased)
• Experience using Signavio for process mapping (strong understanding required, expert level not necessary)
• Proficient across the following functional areas of finance;

• General Ledger Accounting
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Cash & Liquidity Management
• Financial Close and Consolidation
• Construction / Engineering sector experience beneficial but not essential
