IDAM Engineer

IdAM Engineer | DV Clearable

We're looking for an IdAM Engineer to join a dedicated Identity and Access Management Live Services team, maintaining and monitoring key components of the Identity Infrastructure. You'll ensure supported components meet required availability and capacity levels, act as subject matter expert across several areas, and help drive continuous service improvement.

You'll also provide technical support to project streams and engage with external suppliers to ensure the organisation gets real value from those relationships.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting Windows Active Directory Domain Services and security infrastructure across a varied, growing IT environment
• Liaising with Support and Project teams to progress and implement changes and tasks
• Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for Active Directory Domain Services across corporate environments, plus Privileged User Account Management and corporate IdAM solutions
• Responding to 2nd and 3rd line incidents and service requests, taking ownership through to resolution
• Assisting with proactive monitoring and daily checks to prevent incidents
• Following the corporate change process for all implementations
• Maintaining the integrity of Identity Management services in line with industry standards and vendor best practice (e.g. Microsoft)
• Occasionally working outside normal hours to support disaster recovery tests or critical project changes

What you'll need:

• 3+ years' experience and certification administering Windows Server infrastructure (2008/2012/2016/2019)
• Working experience administering Linux systems
• Experience with Two Factor Authentication (RSA) and PKI/Certificate technologies
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, with experience developing automated processes
• Experience administering DNS and DHCP
• Good working knowledge of firewalls and network protocols
• Knowledge of system security and system integration principles/technologies
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and testing
• Experience installing, upgrading and/or managing Forefront Identity Manager/Microsoft Identity Manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Active DV clearance or DV clearable
• Able to work 5 days a week on-site
