Frontend Software Engineer- AI

We are currently recruiting Frontend Software Engineer with AI experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions.
• Analyse requirements and contribute to technical solution design.
• Develop high-quality code using appropriate design patterns and engineering principles.
• Produce unit, integration, and automated test coverage for developed solutions.
• Participate in peer code reviews and engineering quality practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing activities.
• Support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Assist in improving development processes, tooling, automation, and delivery practices.
• Contribute to technical discussions regarding architecture, scalability, performance, and security.
• Support implementation and adoption of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Experience

• Experience developing, testing, and deploying software solutions in production environments.
• Experience with code reviews, automated testing, and source control practices.
• Strong experience building accessible, responsive and user-centred web applications that conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
• Strong React, Next.js and TypeScript experience, including SSR, hydration, routing, hooks, context and server/client boundaries.
• Excellent semantic HTML, CSS, JavaScript and browser-platform knowledge, including responsive design, cross-browser behaviour and Core Web Vitals.
• Ability to translate UX/UI designs, design system components, and product requirements into maintainable front-end implementations.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs, identity providers, analytics services, and back-end platforms.
• Understanding of secure front-end engineering, including XSS prevention, secure session handling, data privacy and safe client configuration.
• Experience with DevOps and platform engineering practices.
• Experience with container technology and microservice architectures.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development practices.
• Experience operating within regulated or security-conscious environments.
