My Client a Higher Education institute, plays a vital role in creating and maintaining an outstanding environment where students and staff can live, study and work. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Data Support Officer (Interim) to join our Estates IWMS Team and support the management of critical estates data and systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, data management and customer support skills who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

Main purpose of the job

  • Supporting with administrative duties including granting system access, reporting, handling of enquiries and managing requests to resolution.
  • Support IWMS business areas with production and population of data import definition sheets in-line with business needs & good data management principles.
  • Support in the analysis of data as required.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Aiding system users with day-to-day technical /process queries, providing demonstrations and training where required.
  • Prepare and load data into IWMS solution as modules are onboarded into the system.
  • Administer any IWMS remediations in response to data inconsistencies.
  • Support the maintenance of user guides and process maps.
  • Support with configuration changes, working with colleagues to ensure accuracy.
  • Support with the onboarding of new users to the IWMS solution as new modules are released.
  • Provide administrative support including: attendance at meetings, minute taking, etc.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience administering CAFM, IWMS or similar information management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Strong customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
