£100k, London (Hybrid | 3 days per week in office)

An exciting and industry leading digital experience agency is looking for a hands-on Technical Director to lead the delivery of AI-powered digital products across web, mobile and conversational platforms. You'll work with leading brands, shaping technical strategy while remaining close to architecture, engineering and delivery.

What You'll Do

• Lead architecture and technical strategy for modern digital products.
• Drive AI integration across websites, apps and conversational experiences.
• Provide hands-on leadership across C#/.NET, cloud and full-stack development.
• Mentor engineering teams and champion engineering best practices.
• Partner with Product, Design and Data teams to deliver innovative user experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading the delivery of large-scale web and mobile applications.
• Strong C#/.NET background with modern API and microservices architecture.
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript expertise.
• Azure, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native delivery experience.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs and conversational AI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Desirable

• LangChain, Semantic Kernel or other AI agent frameworks.
• OpenAI, Claude or similar LLM integrations.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
