Head of Networks

We're seeking a strategic and commercially minded Head of Networks to lead the vision, delivery and operation of enterprise-wide network and voice services.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can balance operational excellence with transformation, ensuring critical connectivity services remain secure, resilient and scalable while driving modernisation across network and voice technologies.

What you'll be doing

• Defining and delivering the strategy and roadmap for Network & Voice services, including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, telephony and contact centre connectivity.
• Leading teams of network, voice and service professionals while providing leadership across strategic partners and managed service providers.
• Owning operational performance, service availability, resilience and continuous improvement.
• Managing major infrastructure programmes, including network refreshes, connectivity transformation and telephony modernisation initiatives.
• Driving supplier performance and managing large-scale telecommunications and connectivity contracts.
• Overseeing domain budgets, investment planning and total cost of ownership.
• Partnering with senior business and technology stakeholders to align services with organisational priorities.
• Leading incident management, service recovery, capacity planning and risk reduction activities.

What we're looking for

Essential

• Extensive experience leading large-scale Network & Voice functions.
• Strong knowledge of WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and telephony platforms.
• Experience managing large, distributed enterprise environments with complex connectivity requirements.
• Proven track record delivering network transformation and infrastructure modernisation programmes.
• Strong commercial and financial management experience, including ownership of significant budgets and supplier contracts.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience leading operational and delivery teams across both run and change environments.
