Solution Architect (Infrastructure & Transformation)
6-Month Contract | SC Cleared | Hybrid (50% Onsite, London)
Please note: an active SC Clearance is required for this role.
We're partnering with a leading UK financial institution on a major infrastructure transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join on an initial 6-month contract.
You'll be responsible for designing and governing infrastructure solutions across complex transition and transformation initiatives, including data centre migrations, service transitions and operational readiness activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver architecture solutions supporting large-scale infrastructure change programmes.
- Lead technical discovery activities and define current and target-state environments.
- Provide technical oversight for data centre migration and transformation projects.
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues, dependencies and escalations.
- Coordinate technical implementation activities across internal teams and suppliers.
- Support transition planning, operational readiness and legacy service decommissioning.
- Provide guidance on secure infrastructure and DMZ architecture.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Infrastructure Architect within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong background in infrastructure transformation, transition and migration programmes.
- Experience with data centre migrations and multi-supplier environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and architecture governance skills.
- Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
