We are seeking a creative and proactive Content Specialist (Design, Digital Content & Paid Media) to provide specialist support across visual design, digital content development, campaign planning and paid media delivery for the English and School Education (ESE) portfolio.
This role is responsible for creating high-quality, engaging and strategically aligned marketing and communications materials that increase programme visibility, audience engagement and global positioning. The successful candidate will combine strong design skills, digital marketing expertise, and experience scheduling, managing and optimising campaigns across multiple digital channels.
A key focus of the role will be providing flexible support for smaller-scale design and content projects that require specialist expertise and rapid turnaround, including social media assets, campaign materials, event branding, digital toolkits and programme visibility content.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality visual assets for digital campaigns, programme communications, reports, presentations and social media channels.
- Create engaging multimedia content, including graphics, infographics, short-form videos, social media cards and branded communication materials.
- Plan, schedule and manage digital content calendars aligned to organisational priorities and campaign objectives.
- Coordinate and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept through to delivery and evaluation.
- Deliver paid digital marketing activities across platforms including LinkedIn and Meta, including audience targeting, ad design, campaign optimisation and performance monitoring.
- Develop and manage social media toolkits and communications assets for programmes, events and campaigns across multiple countries and regions.
- Monitor content and campaign performance, analysing data and producing reports with recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support the development of multimedia storytelling content that showcases programme impact, success stories and human-centred narratives.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and communications standards.
- Provide specialist support for one-off design projects and rapid-turnaround communications requirements.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Strong experience in graphic design, visual communications and digital content creation.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), Canva and other design platforms.
- Experience in digital marketing, campaign planning, scheduling and execution.
- Proven experience managing and optimising paid advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and other digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media management, content scheduling and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent copywriting and caption-writing skills.
- Ability to monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance using digital analytics tools.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working within international development, education, or social impact communications.
