Technical Architect - AWS / Cloud Migration- Edinburgh (Hybrid) 6 Month Contract -Inside IR35

We're working with a major public sector client seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a large-scale migration from legacy Red Hat infrastructure into AWS.

This is a hands-on role working closely with internal engineering teams to help design, refactor and deliver cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration of applications from Red Hat to AWS
• Support development and infrastructure teams during transition
• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures
• Guide best practice on cloud and emerging technologies
• Document and communicate architectural decisions

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with AWS cloud platforms
• Background in Red Hat technologies (RHEL, OpenShift, JBoss)
• Experience with application refactoring for cloud migration
• Strong system design and architecture capability
• Ability to work in agile, collaborative teams
