Cloud Platform Engineer (AI) Contractor - AWS

Our client are looking for Cloud/Platform Engineers to support a newly formed AI platform team. This role focuses on building and operating AWS-based infrastructure that underpins machine learning and emerging AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native services on AWS
• Support and enhance AI/ML platform infrastructure
• Improve CI/CD, automation, and platform reliability
• Work with services such as Bedrock and SageMaker
• Provide operational support, including on-call

Requirements

• Strong AWS experience (essential)
• Proven Cloud/Platform/DevOps background
• CI/CD and cloud-native environments
• Ability to hit the ground running

Desirable

• Kubernetes
• Exposure to AI/ML or MLOps

Overview

• Platform-focused role (not pure AI engineering)
